Florida Statutory Compliance Bureau ("FSCB," "we," "us," or "our") is a private compliance consulting service based in Plantation, Florida. We operate the website floridacompliancebureau.com and provide administrative support services related to Florida DBPR license compliance.

5.2 Florida DBPR Portal

When you authorize us to act on your behalf, we may submit your information (such as your license number and business details) through the Florida DBPR's online portal as part of our administrative services. This is done solely at your direction and with your authorization.

5.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of FSCB, our clients, or the public.

5.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of FSCB's assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on our website prior to your data being subject to a different privacy policy.

6 Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations:

  • Active clients: We retain your information for the duration of your service engagement and for 3 years following the end of your engagement, to address any potential disputes or compliance inquiries.
  • Inactive inquiries: If you requested a Diagnostic Audit but did not become a paying client, we retain your information for 12 months and then delete it.
  • Payment records: We retain transaction records for 7 years in accordance with standard business and tax record-keeping requirements.
  • Communications: Email and phone communications are retained for 3 years following your last engagement with us.

When retention periods expire, we securely delete or anonymize your personal information.

7 Data Security

FSCB takes reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Our security measures include:

  • Using Stripe for all payment processing — we never store raw payment card data on our systems
  • Secure, encrypted email communications for client correspondence
  • Password protection and access controls on all systems containing client data
  • Limiting access to your information to only those personnel who need it to provide your services

Important: No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable security practices, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
